    GINA&AURA wasn’t created simply to sell plants and crystals. It grew from a deeply personal need for grounding, healing and connection during a journey through mental illness and addiction.

    What began as a therapeutic outlet slowly became something much more.

    There was something about working with plants that made the noise quiet down.

    Hands in the soil. Removing old roots. Mixing the right growing medium. Repotting. Cleaning each leaf. Noticing new growth. Learning when to water—and when to leave something alone and simply give it time.

    Plant care required presence.

    When your hands are covered in soil and you’re focused on the living thing in front of you, your mind has somewhere to be other than everywhere else.

    It became a way of slowing down and returning to the present moment.

    After a busy or overwhelming day, coming home to a little indoor jungle became a ritual.

    Walking from plant to plant. Checking the soil. Looking beneath the leaves. Noticing what had changed. Seeing who needed water, who needed more light, who was growing and who simply needed time.

    For those moments, the rest of the world became quieter.

    There was nowhere else to be.

    Just here.

    And somewhere between the soil, the plants, the crystals, the rituals and the stillness they created, the idea behind GINA&AURA began to take root.

    FROM HEALING TO PURPOSE

    That experience changed the way we thought about the things we bring into our homes.

    A plant wasn’t simply décor.

    It was something living to nurture.

    A crystal wasn’t simply something beautiful.

    It was something formed by the Earth that could become part of a personal ritual or intention.

    Caring for our environment became another way of caring for ourselves.

    GINA&AURA grew from that philosophy.

    Today, the brand is dedicated to all things energy—living energy, grounding energy, cleansing energy and the energy we intentionally create within the spaces we call home.

    Our plants, crystals, spiritual goods and home pieces are thoughtfully chosen and prepared with that philosophy at their centre.

    We aren’t here to define what healing, spirituality or wellness should look like for anyone else. Those journeys are deeply personal.

    A plant should be ready for your home—not fresh from the greenhouse.

    At GINA&AURA, plants are more than décor.

    They are living energy.

    They breathe. They grow. They change. They respond to their surroundings.

    And caring for them asks something of us in return:

    There is something grounding about putting your hands in soil, cleaning a leaf, noticing new growth or simply taking a few quiet minutes to understand what another living thing needs.

    For us, plant care is part care, part ritual and deeply therapeutic.

    That philosophy is why we approach the plants we offer differently.

    THE GINA&AURA ACCLIMATION RITUAL

    Plants are typically grown in greenhouse environments where light, temperature, humidity and growing conditions can be very different from those inside our homes.

    We don’t believe their transition should be rushed.

    When a plant arrives at GINA&AURA from one of our greenhouses or suppliers, it doesn’t immediately go up for sale.

    Its journey with us has only begun.

    We gently remove the plant from its original growing medium and carefully inspect and cleanse its roots.

    It is then repotted into one of our signature handcrafted soil blends, individually curated to support the needs of that specific plant variety.

    Different plants require different balances of moisture, drainage, nutrients and airflow around their roots.

    We honour those differences.

    The foliage is carefully cleaned and treated with our organic plant spray to help remove debris and address unwanted pests that may have travelled with the plant.

    Then comes one of the most important parts of our process.

    We give it time.

    Time to settle.

    Time to adjust.

    Time to root.

    Time to show us what it needs.

    Each plant is allowed to acclimate to an indoor environment while we closely observe its energy, health and growth—how it responds to its new soil, how it reacts to light and how comfortably it begins establishing itself.

    Only when we believe the plant is healthy, established and ready for another transition do we offer it to its next home.

    PREPARED, NOT JUST SOLD

    Bringing home a new plant should feel exciting.

    It shouldn’t feel like inheriting the stress of its journey from a greenhouse.

    By the time a GINA&AURA plant reaches you, it has already been intentionally cared for, repotted, cleaned, observed and given an opportunity to adjust.

    Formed naturally within the Earth over immense periods of time, crystals travel through places, environments and hands before eventually finding their way to us.

    No two pieces are exactly alike.

    Their colour variations, inclusions, textures, formations and imperfections are not flaws to us.
